Two dedicated aviators, Victoria Czyszczon and Samantha Inguanzo, whose passion for flight, leadership, and community drive them to new heights in the world of aviation.
Why We Race
Team Tropic Thunder is dedicated to breaking barriers, empowering women in aviation, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams. The Air Race Classic is not just a competition; it's a mission of empowerment, teamwork, and exploration.
Pilot:
Hi, I’m Victoria Czyszczon, and aviation has been my true passion from the start. With nearly 1,000 flight hours under my belt, I’m a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI) focused on helping others build confidence and skill in the sky. When I’m not flying, I’m leading the Boca Raton Flying Club as President, always striving to create a supportive, professional environment for aspiring aviators. I hold advanced endorsements in high-performance, high-altitude, and complex aircraft, and I take a hands-on approach to both private and commercial training. I earned my Bachelor’s in Political Science with a Certificate in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida Atlantic University, and I’m about to start my Master’s in Aviation Management with certificates in Aviation Safety and Finance. With a first-class medical, an FCC radiotelephone operator permit, and fluency in four languages, I’m always ready to take flight with dedication, discipline, and a global perspective.
Co Pilot:
Hi, I’m Samantha Inguanzo from sunny Delray Beach, Florida, and my love for aviation took off during college after my very first flight. I’m now nearing the finish line of my Commercial and CFI certificates, and when I’m not in the sky, I’m out sailing as a yacht broker. I hold a Master’s in Bioengineering and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, and I’m passionate about blending adventure with purpose. Giving back has been a huge part of my journey—I currently serve as Treasurer for the Women in Aviation Great Lakes Chapter, am the immediate past chair of the Treasure Coast 99s, and previously served as a Florida Ambassador for the Recreational Aviation Foundation. I also love teaching the next generation as a Ground Instructor, helping others find the same joy in flight that I did. This year, I’m thrilled to race in my first Air Race Classic as part of Team #8 Tropic Thunder.
